AEC APPLICATION FORM

Athletes's Committee members interested in running for the AEC must meet the following criteria:

• 18 years of age
• At least one year of satisfactory leadership and/or convention experience in USA Swimming that extends beyond LSC representation, and/or professional or leadership experience relevant to the AEC
• Within the two (2) years before selection, demonstrated that they are actively engaged in amateur athletic competition, and/or represented USA Swimming in competition at any of the following meets within the past ten (10) years: Olympics, World Championships, Pan Pacific Championships, or Pan American Championships
• Additionally, AEC members may not concurrently serve as a Zone Athlete Reprentative.

NOTE: Member of the AEC are expected to be actively engaged for a minimum of two years. Prospective candidates should ensure they are able to make a two-year commitment to the AEC prior to declaring their candidacy.
