The deadline for submitting applications to attend or speak at the UN Summit for Refugees and Migrants has passed. Thank you for your interest.
The Office of the President of the General Assembly circulated a list of organizations that do not have consultative status with ECOSOC recommended for special accreditation to UN Member States on 10 August for their review on a non-objection basis, with a deadline of 16 August.
Speaker applications will be reviewed and short-listed by a civil society Steering Committee, with final decision taken by the President of the General Assembly.
Seating capacity for civil society observers is not yet known.
We hope to have final information on all above subjects by the 3rd week of August.
