Event Manager Position : Job Description

Sky Zone Trampoline Park is seeking a motivated and experienced Event Manager for its location in Durham, North Carolina. You will be a community ambassador to foster relationships and event sales while overseeing all event bookings, event staff, and event operations. You must be a leader who is passionate about sales and the sales process while providing exceptional guest service to "Wow" our guests. We are seeking candidates who are flexible, friendly, and hardworking and also enjoy interacting with both children and adults with a “fun meets fitness” attitude. Your past experience should demonstrate success in sales, creativity, drive and initiative.

This full time position has future internal growth potential.

Qualifications:

Minimum Experience: Two years of management experience in a related field
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Organizational, follow-up, and multitasking skills are a must
Previous management experience with young, part time staff
Ability to develop and market new event ideas
Outgoing, energetic and friendly personality
Willing to grow with the organization
Able to host children's birthday parties
First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Above all this position requires a “fun meets fitness” spirit that is a dedicated team player as well

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oversee all event bookings and ensure superior service to our guests with a genuine interest in providing guests with a memorable event / visit to Sky Zone
Assist in the hiring, training, and scheduling of all event team members (Event assistants, Event hosts) to ensure adequate coverage of events
Serve as primary contact for all guests booking events, following through with the entire process
Oversee all paperwork related to the event process including food, party supplies, waivers, payment, and safety education
Respond to all event inquiries in a proactive and timely manner
Work with the management team to develop, host and promote special events to bring in new business to the facility
Drive community relationships and event sales through database management, cold calling, and networking
Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers (schools, churches, corporations, non-profits, community groups, etc)
Drive group sales and corporate events
Open and close the facility as a Manager on Duty
Perform the functions of event team members when necessary
Direct responsibility to ensure every guest and associate wears a smile
Coordinate with all departments on deliverables to ensure a successful event
Other management duties as assigned

Supervisor Position : Job Description
Sky Zone Trampoline Park, Durham is looking for a part-time Supervisor to join the operations team in directing and overseeing various functions of the Trampoline Park including: maintaining a safe and functional operating environment, monitoring daily operations, and other duties as assigned. Ultimately, the goals of the position will be tied to guest satisfaction and safety along with operational efficiency that results in profitable sales.

Qualifications:

Ability to work nights/weekends/holidays
1 year minimum of personnel management (preferably in a recreational facility setting)
Demonstrated leadership in a customer centric environment
Must love engaging with the community (that means kids, teens, young to older adults)
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Above all this position requires a “fun meets fitness” spirit that is a dedicated team player as well.

Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Provide exceptional guest service and guest safety
Manage daily tasks and process to optimize operational efficiency
Execute on marketing goals to spread awareness of Sky Zone
