1. What best describes your devotional time, if any?

A. Get fed at church, whenever I go.
B. Read a 5-10 minute devotional, when I have time.
C. Learning to use study guides, notes, and tools, spend at least 30-60 minutes a day.
D. Can't get enough of the Word, get up early or stay up late, listen to CD's, MP3's, books, etc.
E. You have become the "Living Word" because you have eaten so much of it, it just flows out of you.

6. Do you believe God loves you?

A. I know the Bible says so, but I don't feel like it.
B. When I don't do bad things, He loves me.

D. Yes, I know He loves me because I am His child. His love is not based on my performance.
E. Most definitely, I am God's child, and Jesus' other half. There is nothing He wouldn't do for me. I am the love of His life!
7. How often do you say "No" to your Self?

A. Wouldn't even think to tell my Self no. I get what I want, when I want, as much as I want, and do whatever it takes to get my way.
B. Not if I can help it, only unless I am forced to.
C. Sometimes, but I don't like it.
D. Most of the time, but I give in every now and then and let my Self get the best of me.
E. Never, I make my Self stay in line under the Spirit's direction.
8. Who do you listen to most when going through hard times?

A. Other People (nay-sayers)

9. How often do you identify spirits (fear, worry, impatience, self-pity, pride, manipulation, offense, rebellion, anger, etc.) that you may be dealing with in your life or in a situation relating to others?

10. How often do you follow the Holy Spirit's directions or instructions?
*
A. Never, wouldn't know if the Holy Spirit was speaking to me or not, so how could I possibly follow?
B. Not really, I'm not sure what His voice sounds like. I may have heard God speak to my heart a couple of times.
C. Only when I'm forced into obedience, but I go kicking and screaming. I usually try to compromise.
D. I try to follow the Holy Spirit's instructions most of the time, but sometimes I still miss it.
E. I'm always listening and sensitive to the Spirit's voice and try to follow, because I know He will get me to my destination quicker and it will always be good for me even though I may not understand it. Just follow and trust, I will see where it comes out in the end.
11. I can recognize when I have heard a "word" from God, and know how to hang onto it until it comes to pass and materializes.

A. Wouldn't have a clue.
B. I know what the "Word of God" is, but wouldn't know if God was speaking to me or not.
C. Sometimes I thought God has spoken to my heart and I step out in faith, but then fall flat on my face.
D. I do know when God has spoken to my heart and how to test the Word. I step out and fight the good fight of faith for a while, but then I get tired or distracted and lose my focus and quit before I see the results.
E. I know how to receive a word from God, and how to hang onto it until I see the manifestation of it. Miracles follow because I believe God. I am fruitful and productive.
12. Describe your response when you get passed over, overlooked, or not recognized.

A. I cry about it, either to myself or on someone else's shoulder.
B. I pitch a tantrum, making sure everybody knows about it.
C. I get my feelings hurt, get mad and take my ball and go elsewhere. I could do a better job than them anyway.
D. I may not like it, but try to submit to God's sovereignty most of the time.
E. I know God is directing my steps. He will make sure I am where I need to be when I need to be there. Promotion comes from God.
13. How do you respond to temptation?
*
A. Wouldn't have a clue if I was being tempted or not.
B. I am gullible and fall for it every time.
C. Sometimes I recognize it, but I really don't care, because I want it anyway.
D. Most of the time I recognize it and can walk away, but some things still get the best of me.
E. I recognize satan's tricks, and don't give him the time of day. I am in control of my Self and call the shots on what I will and will not do. I follow the Spirit, so I don't get in trouble by giving in to the cravings of my Flesh.
14. How would you rate your conversation?

A. Never thought about it.
B. I say whatever I want, whenever I want, and don't care who is listening.
C. I am a negative and destructive, pulling others down, gossiping, judgmental, critical, fault-finding, murmuring and complaining.
D. I try to be positive and uplifting, but haven't quite mastered the art of forming every word I speak.
E. I understand I have the power of life and death in my tongue. I closely monitor my words. I order my conversation correctly so God shows me His salvation and deliverance in my life.
15. How would you rate your ability to "Rest" in God taking care of everything that concerns you?
*
A. I'm a basket case when any little thing happens in my life that upsets my apple cart. I cry over spilled milk.
B. I'm a worry wort and can't help myself. I won't rest until the situation is rectified.
C. I am a do-it-yourselfer. I will figure it out on way or the other. If I don't see God doing something, I get anxious and make something happen.
D. I pray about things and try to cast my care on the Lord, but then I pick it up again.
E. I know that nothing I do alone matters; my ability without God's ability is totally non-productive. So I rest in Him and wait for Him to do what I cannot, follow where He leads and rest in the meantime. I am not anxious; we will get there when we get there. I trust Him unequivocally.
