Technique (Jimmie, Marjorie, Robert)
This class will explore how to improve the phrasing and execution of a dance from all positions in the set. Dancers should have a good understanding of all basic steps and formations and have been introduced to more advanced formations.

18th and 19th Century Dances (Marjorie McLaughlin)
Dance like it's 1749, or even 1816! This class is part lecture, part dancing as we reconstruct The Montgomeries' Rant from the 1749 Menzies Manuscript, and one or two dances from Thomas Wilson's 1816 Companion to the Ballroom. We'll look at differences in dancing style and etiquette, and explore some interesting interpretations of the old dances that affect how we dance them today.
