Paradox Sports is hosting our annual adaptive climbing weekend event at the world famous Gunks in New York!
Climbing guides, entrance fee into the Trapps ($18/day), instruction, gear, and meals are all included in our low registration fee. All experience levels, abilities and ages are welcome!! The weekend also includes lodging at our gracious hosts, the Treadway's home in nearby New Paltz. The Treadways have a large and beautiful property where you can camp and connect with your fellow climbers.

Friday 10/16/15
4 PM: Arrive at the Treadways, set up camp
6 PM: Group dinner
8 PM: Campfire, meet & greet
Saturday 10/17/15
9 AM - 4 PM: Full Day Adaptive Climbing Clinic at Mohonk Reserve
Team breakfast provided before & lunch provided at the crag.
4 PM - 6 PM Free time
6 PM: Dinner TBD
8 PM: Paradox Annual Event at Rock and Snow, New Paltz
Sunday 10/18/15
9 AM - 2 PM: Half day Adaptive Climbing Clinic at Mohonk Reserve
Team breakfast provided & lunch provided at the crag.
3 PM: Pack up and Depart
Some climbing equipment and personal camping equipment can be borrowed as needed. Please include in registration what you may need to borrow.
All routes will be set by the guides and trip leaders. Specialty adaptive gear and ropes will be provided by Paradox Sports. We encourage climbers to bring their own personal gear if possible (harness, rock climbing shoes, helmet). Climbing instruction and belaying will be provided for top rope. All experience levels are welcome!!!
Important Registration Information and Policies
As with any physically demanding event, we recommend you check with your physician before registering if you are unsure if it is a good fit for you. Please answer the following questions to register and someone will be in touch shortly.
Due to the popularity of our events, we request that you only register if you are sure your schedule accommodates being available for a full weekend of climbing in The Gunks, Oct 16 - Sun, Oct 18, 2015. There is limited space for participants at this event.
NOTE! We have a cancellation policy to ensure the max number of climbers can attend. However, if we change the dates of this event, we offer a full refund to those who cannot make it.
If you cancel
- 2 weeks or more before the event: you will receive a full refund of your reg fees unless costs were incurred by Paradox Sports. In that case, we may retain 10% of your reg fee.
- with less than 2 weeks notice of the event and we cannot fill your spot: you will be charged 50% of the reg fee.
- with no notice (no-show): your reg fee is non-refundable and we will retain the full fee.
For emergency situations and special cases, please contact us to discuss options and we will work with you for the best solution.
The climbing portions of this event are alcohol and drug free. No exceptions
