HIGH SCHOOL EXTERNSHIP PROGRAM: FROM PLAN TO PRODUCTION

The New York City Center Externship Program introduces students and young adults, ages 14-18, to the many career options available to them in the arts; focusing on creative, technical, design, and administrative arts jobs. Utilizing breaks in the NYC public school year, each session is centered around in-depth, experiential seminars. Under the guidance of City Center staff and artists, participants will have opportunities to explore responsibilities and tasks for a variety of arts jobs and have a greater understanding of non-profit operations. Each program is free and includes daily lunch and complimentary tickets to a City Center production.
