Membership Hold (up to 3 months) or Termination

A Membership Hold or Termination MUST be done by the 26th of the month to be in effect for the following month.
Memberships will not be placed on hold with a balance due.  All fees must be paid in full before a hold will be placed your membership. You will receive notification if you have a balance in our system.

Memberships may be put on hold for a total of 3 consecutive months per calendar year.
• I may reinstate my membership at any time before the 3 months and my dues will be prorated.
If I do not reinstate my membership before the 3 month period ends, my membership will resume with full dues
• I may not use the facility while my membership is on hold, unless I purchase a Guest Pass.
• The reinstatement process may take up to 24 hours to complete. 
I understand that the YMCA at Austin Community Recreation Center requires two full months of membership dues before terminating. I must terminate my membership by the 26th of the month in order to stop the automatic debit/credit transfer of funds for the following month. My membership fees are non-refundable and I will be charged for the months I was a member even if I didn’t use my membership. By choosing to terminate my membership, I will have to pay the join fee if I decide to reapply for membership if more than 30 days have passed. Cancelling my membership will result in forfeiture of any unapplied insurance reimbursement. I will be responsible for any outstanding balances before I am able to cancel my membership. *
