The Service Learning Committee
The Service Learning Committee serves to inspire Pierce Downers students to connect with individuals and families in need in and around our community by offering monthly service opportunities in an effort to promote empathy, compassion and an eagerness to help those not as fortunate.
The STEAM Committee
The STEAM Committee serves to provide educational programs in learning that use Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking. The end results are students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving and work with others through a creative process in hopes of creating future innovators, educators and leaders.
