Calendar of Events

Kick Off Meeting: (Tentative) February 5, 2020 (Informational meeting, should be attended by one parent per participating skater)
**Show Practices: March - April 2020
Show Picture Day: March 28 or 29, 2020 (will confirm as soon as possible)
Full Show Rehearsal: April 25 OR April 26, 2020 (TBD) (We understand this is April Vacation weekend, please don't let this stop you from joining the show if you can't make this practice. Please try your best to make this practice.)
Mandatory Dress Rehearsal (evening): Friday, May 1, 2020
Ice Crystals MATINEE Performance: SATURDAY, May 2, 2020, 1:00 p.m.
Ice Crystals EVENING Performance: SATRUDAY, May 2, 2020, 6:00 p.m.

** We are grateful to have our show practice ice donated by NVO and our schedule is subject to ice availability provided by management. Schedules will be communicated via eblast and posted on the board outside the CFSC office on a weekly basis. Practice ice is generally Saturdays, after 12:00 p.m. and/or Sundays after 12:30 p.m.

Synchro Skills ($40.00) - A new Synchro option for Basic 4 skaters and up, learn a Synchro routine and perform during the show!

Synchro Skills Group Option Details: For all skaters, Basic 4 and above, join this additional group number and learn a Synchro routine to perform during the Ice Crystals show. You do not have to be new to Synchro to join this group. We welcome anyone who hasn't ever tried Synchro before, as well as those who have tried the Synchro Skills clinics or have skated on a team in the past, but currently are not on one of the Colonial teams this season. Cost includes a costume, show practices on Sundays, and a performance in one of the Ice Crystals shows!

Attendance Policy

Group number participants MUST ATTEND the last TWO scheduled rehearsals prior to the show dress rehearsal (May 1, 2020).
Group number participants are allowed TWO (2) UNEXCUSED absences from show rehearsals.
A third EXCUSED absence may be allowed at the group choreographer’s discretion.
Failure to adhere to the attendance policy may result in removal from the show and loss of registration fees.

Agreement

I am aware that figure skating is a dangerous sport and that my (or my child’s) participation in skating or training activities is at my (or my child’s) sole risk.

I hereby agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Colonial Figure Skating Club, Inc. (CFSC), Nashoba Valley Olympia, Inc., and Olympus Realty Trust, all their directors, officers, agents, insurers, attorneys, and employees, from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages or injury, whatsoever of any kind of nature that may be sustained as a result of my (or my child’s) participation or activities with CFSC.

I have read the above and understand all terms and conditions of this contract, including my financial obligations regarding the show and costume(s) fees, and that these fees are non-refundable.

I give permission for all photos, videos and other forms of media identifying/ portraying the above skater to be used by CFSC for marketing purposes.

Enrollment is accepted on a first come, first serve basis and must be paid in full at time of registration. All payments are non-refundable unless the program is cancelled.
