Butterflies in the Garden Field Study Trips are available March 3 - April 11 on Tuesdays-Fridays and run from 10 am – 12 noon and from 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm. 
 
Groups visit both the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) and the Fort Worth Botanic Garden (FWBG) Conservatory. Click here to download our Butterflies Field Study Trip Guide for descriptions of each grade-level's experience.
 
* Because the activities for Butterflies in the Garden take place on the BRIT campus, there is not a separate GROW-Guided experience available at BRIT during this time. BRIT experiences will resume in May, with more information available soon.
GROW-Guided Field Study Trips at the Garden are available Tuesdays-Fridays and run from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon (exceptions upon request).
 
Groups will participate in educational activities at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden (FWBG). Click here to download our Spring Field Study Trip Guide for descriptions of each grade-level's experience.

GROW-Guided Field Study Trips at the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) are available starting May 1st, Tuesdays-Fridays and run from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon (exceptions upon request). Groups will participate in educational activities at BRIT. 
 
* Because the activities for Butterflies in the Garden take place on the BRIT campus during the month of March and beginning of April, there is not a separate GROW-Guided experience available at BRIT during this time. BRIT experiences will resume in May, with more information available soon.
Self-Guided Explorations are available Monday-Tuesday 9 am - 3 pm and Wednesday-Friday 1 - 3 pm
 
Self-Guided Exploration pricing is available for schools, homeschool groups, and after-school programs for children Pre-K-12th grade only. To register an adult or college group to visit the garden, please contact Stephanie Sellers: stephanie.sellers@fortworthtexas.gov

Adults and Chaperones: Minimum requirement of 1 chaperone per 10 students. 

All adults registered as part of the group qualify for Field Study Trip pricing of $8 each (or $10 with Garden admission add-on)*.  

Any unregistered adult joining on the day of a Field Study Trip will pay the regular admission fees and are subject to availability of Butterflies in the Garden admission. We strongly recomend registering all parents ahead of time, as this will save you both money and confusion on the day of your visit.

* 504 accommodating adults are free
