Christ the King & St. Bernadette Elementary Faith Journey

Our parish is dedicated to making disciples of all our young people. Our faith formation is not just catechetical; rather, it focuses some areas of formation. Our elementary faith journey is open to all young people who want to encounter a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. Young people who are entering Kindergarten to 5th grade will be formed by various activities in their parish. The Passport activities to be complete in at least 2 spiritual, 2 human, 2 pastoral. The 6 intellectual will be completed in the catechetical Sundays. See the calendar for dates and more passport information.

Instructions for Completing Registration

Registration for our Elementary Faith Formation Journey is open. Here are some tips and reminders that will help you successfully completing this registration form.

- Please complete at least five "Passport Events" prior to submitting this application or by September 12, 2022. Once you have completed all 5 events, you can take a photo or scan the passport as an attachment for this registration form.

- If you need a passport, you may pick one up from Christ the King Parish Office, as well as St. Bernadette (the passports are found at the front door drop off location). look in the bulletin or in our website for the events list.

- Once you have submitted your registration, you will receive a confirmation email (be sure to check your SPAM or "Cluster" folder). If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact Deacon Dan Miller (Daniel.Miller@archbalt.org).

-Please register no later than August 15, 2022 so we can properly place your child in a clases.

Tuition

- $100 for 1 child

- $200 for 2 children

- $275 for a family of three or more (in the same household and elementary age only, other fees for MS,HS and Sacramental preparation).

There are several options for paying faith formation tuition. Registration is not complete until tuition is paid.

- You may pay tuition in person at one of our parish offices (Christ the King or St. Bernadette). Both parishes would be happy to receive your tuition by cash or check(payable to Christ the King). Please include your child's (children's) name(s) on the check memo. Credit Card payments can be made at the Christ the King office in person or by calling the office 410-766-5070. Please call the office ahead of your visit to be sure someone is available to take your payment. *

As an integral part of our religious education curriculum, we will be teaching "Family Life" catechesis. This age-appropriate program about Christian living, chastity, character formation, and safe enviorment training promotes communication between you and your child. You are encouraged to review the program materials that the teacher/catechist will be using in the classroom, as well as the materials you will receive for home discussion.
