Assembly Festival set the standard for theatre, comedy and entertainment and are one of the largest multi-venue operators on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. We present high calibre work in temporary theatre spaces across the city ranging from lecture theatres and churches to tents and shipping containers. 2019 marks the 72nd year of the Fringe and is Assembly’s 39th year, and the company will present a programme of around 200 shows in comedy, theatre, dance and music drawn from over 20 countries across 5 hubs including the magnificent Assembly Hall, our year round home – Assembly Roxy, Assembly Rooms, George Square Gardens and surrounding spaces and Assembly Checkpoint.
As part of the team with Assembly you'll be expected to provide a high level of customer service, and represent a venue that cares for the experience of the Artists performing with us and the audience experience. You'll be expected to go above and beyond to provide a high level of service to our partrons and performers and make the Assembly Festival experience one to remember.
Assembly recieves over 2,000 applications for roles in our teams every year, and so we are unable to answer every application directly. You will be contacted for an interview if we feel we can progress your application.
All previous staff must re-apply for positions.
We are looking for teams of highly skilled staff for the following teams:
Bar Staff - including cocktail and bar management staff
Baristas - including Barista Teams and Supervisors
Box Office - ticketing staff and Supervisors
Front of House - Ushers and Supervisors
Street Team and Supervisors
Catering & Concessions - front line staff, food prep and Supervisors.
Cleaning Teams - help keep our sites beautiful!
