After you have completed the online registration our marina staff will be in contact with you. On arrival at RGYC please visit the marina office, reception, or bar to: Check-in via the QR Code, show proof of your Vaccination Status, and collect a visitor access card.

From 11.59pm on Thursday, 21 October 2021 all members, guests and visitors aged 16+ must be double vaccinated to access RGYC facilities. The only exemptions are those with a medical condition that prevents vaccination and you must have supporting documentation.

Effective 11.59 pm on Tuesday 21 December 2021, any person 12 years or older entering the RGYC precinct must be fully vaccinated or be exempted through the presentation of an exemption certificate. The Board recommends any person Under 12 years of age wear a face mask.

Where possible we ask that visitors download their Vaccination Certificate to their Services Victoria App. When visiting the club visitors will need to scan the QR Code and display the Vaccination Certificate to a staff member.

Please note, that Spot checks will be conducted throughout the yard and marina areas.

ROYAL GEELONG YACHT CLUB MARINA RULES

1. When a craft enters the Marina it shall immediately come within the jurisdiction of the Royal Geelong Yacht Club and shall be berthed and maneuvered only as directed by the Marina Manager.

2. The craft shall be moored in a proper and seamanlike manner, with bow of the vessel should face in a Northerly aspect in accordance with the marine design Engineers recommendations 1988, the berthing of each vessel will be under the strict guidance and review of the Marina Manager.

3. The Marina shall be kept clear of all gear, including dinghies, and trolleys shall be returned to their proper place at the shore end of the Marina from whence collected immediately after use.

4. The visitor shall forthwith remove from the Marina to the waste bins provided, all waste and rubbish brought upon or generated within the craft or Marina.

5. Noise shall be kept to a minimum at all times and the visitor shall use discretion in operating audio equipment in order to cause the minimum amount of annoyance to others.

6. Toilets, oil, chemicals, spirts, inflammables and oily bilge's may not be discharged into the Marina waters.

7. Swimming or fishing within the Marina area is prohibited.

8. Children under the age of 12 years should be accompanied by an adult at all times within the Marina and on any craft within the Marina.

9. Dogs are not permitted on the marina at anytime except when under effective control on a lead whilst in transit to and from a vessel. All dog waste must be cleaned up immediately by the owner.

10. Speed limits set for the Marina as displayed and/or advertised from time to time, must be observed, departing from, or when approaching the entrance to the Marina.

11. All collisions or damage within or to any part of the Marina shall be reported to the Marina Manager immediately from, or if the Marina office is not open, within 24 hours of the occurrence.

12. No vessel licensed to carry passengers for hire or reward is to embark or disembark passengers at a Marina berth or part thereof of the Marina.

13. Craft in the Marina must be moored in a manner that prevents any part of the hull or attachment to the hull projecting over a walkway.

14. All boating regulations are to be observed.
