What is CCSO? (English)
Child Care Substitutes of Oregon (CCSO) is a substitute pool program based out of the The Research Institute (TRI) at Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon. CCSO hires and trains early childhood substitutes who can provide coverage to Oregon child care programs. Our CCSO substitutes serve all across Oregon, having the ability to se their own schedules through CCSO’s job matching platform ChildcareMatters.com.
In a partnership with the Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC), Oregon child care programs can use up to 50 free subsidized hours of coverage when enrolled with CCSO. Programs complete the CCSO enrollment process, then create profiles on CCSO’s job matching platform ChildcareMatters.com. Once completed, programs can post shifts that are sent to substitutes in their region. Programs receive 50 hours per calendar year and soon will be able to purchase additional coverage time.
