University of Plymouth Alumni Awards

Alumni awards logo

The University of Plymouth Alumni Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our alumni. No matter when they graduated, these awards offer the opportunity to shine a light on their positive impacts.

Alumni can nominate themselves or be nominated by a student or staff of the University, or a member of the public, to one of the six categories - please refer to our website for full details of award categories.

The deadline for applications is Saturday 30 November at 23.59 BST.

Application guidelines

Please note that:

  • Alumni can nominate themselves for an award or nominate another graduate for an award.
  • Anyone can nominate one of our alumni, including current students, current and former colleagues, alumni of the University and members of the public.
  • Alumni must have been enrolled and fully completed a programme of study at the University of Plymouth or one of its UK or overseas partner institutions.
  • You can only make one application or nomination for each potential candidate.
  • Each application or nomination must be for one award category only.

Alumni ineligible for nomination include:

  • Current members and coopted members of the Board of Governors or its committees. They can be nominated once their term on the board has ended. This ineligibility does not extend to general staff members at the University of Plymouth who can be nominated.
  • Honorary graduates of the University (unless they have also studied at or received a qualification from the University).
The Development and Alumni Relations Office reserves the right to make a final decision on any individual’s eligibility for the awards.
