KDA is committed to providing an environment that enhances and encourages economic growth of the agriculture industry and the Kansas economy. In keeping with that effort, the KDA is hosting four regional Agriculture Business Development workshops that will focus on ag business recruitment. Speakers from the Kansas Department of Commerce, Kansas Department of Agriculture, and local economic development councils will provide information relating to what information is needed when responding to Requests for Proposals or targeted business recruitment.
We understand that many counties/cities may not have an organized economic development organization and those responsibilities may lie with a community group. This workshop is designed for economic developers, chamber of commerce officials, county/city government officials, or any community member interested in learning more about business recruitment.
This is a free event and a meal will be provided. All workshops will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
