Threat Hunting Training
 
Improve your cyber investigations by leveraging internet datasets. We invite you to this hands-on training workshop which is designed to introduce security analysts, incident responders, cyber threat intelligence analysts and SOC personnel to new methods and new threat datasets that let you quickly and thoroughly investigate attacks.

Topics Include:

  Intro to Threat Infrastructure Analysis
  Are You Asking the Right Question of the Data?
  How to Pivot Between Multiple Threat Datasets to Isolate Attacker Infrastructure
  Enhanced Context via Web Crawling
  Common Analyst Pitfalls
  Hands-On Exercises
  Looking at Your Own Organization’s Digital Footprint From an Attacker’s Perspective
 

The training is open to cyber-incident response executives, CISOs, or those that have risk and threat management responsibilities from FS-ISAC member organizations, and invited speakers. FS-ISAC provides all attendees a certificate of attendance as proof of participation in an educational event; sent via email after the conclusion of the event. Members and attendees will need to self-report attendance information (certificate of attendance) for continuing professional education (CPE) credits with their accrediting organization.
 

Members may select the morning or afternoon session. Two personnel per member may register for the training. If members have more than two interested team members they can contact the FS-ISAC Team in Singapore and have their name added to a wait list. Deadline to register is 2 July 2019. Please note, space for this event is limited. Registration will close early if the event reaches capacity.

Tea break will be provided. The training will also include a complimentary networking drinks session held at Caprillicious (Delight) @ Capri by Fraser from 17:30 - 18:30.
 
Dress code is business casual. Please note for security purposes, all attendees will be required to present a photo ID upon arrival. 

Agenda

As part of its mission to foster sector relationships and bring important topics to members, FS-ISAC is hosting this training at our APAC office in Singapore. The agenda for this event will run from approximately 08:00 - 12:00 / 13:00 - 17:00. The training will include a complimentary networking drinks session held at Capri by Fraser from 17:30 - 18:30.
